Jaipur| Digital Baal Mela and the Rajasthan Education Department has started a new campaign on the occasion of National Voters Day on January 25 ‘Kaun Banega Loktantra Prahari’ . Under this campaign “Voting awareness week” has been initiated to increase the awareness of children towards elections and voting. Children are being made aware about the different types of elections held in India, the state of Rajasthan and the Panchayat Raj system.
In this episode, today we are going to tell you about the state in India with the highest voting rate. This election rate is according to the data of 2019 Lok Sabha elections-
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Union Territory of Lakshadweep recorded the highest voter turnout, with 85% of the population voting in the region.
After Lakshadweep, the top 5 states are the North East states, which have an average voter turnout of 80%.
