Jaipur. On June 12, the state witnessed a historic Children’s Session presided over by the Speaker of the Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly. For this special session, 68 children were selected from across the country, the process of which lasted for a total of three months. “Child representatives” were seen raising their voice on child issues in Shimla Vidhansabha Bhawan. Anvi of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Hamirpur was also selected for this session in which she got a chance to become a government side MLA. Anvi had sent her entry through video to the Digital Bal Mela in which she presented her claim to become the Education Minister. Anvi told that if she becomes the education minister, she will try to fill the shortage of teachers in the schools of Himachal Pradesh and provide the highest level of education.
A special children’s session was organized on the occasion of Child Labor Prohibition Day…
In this session, Chief Minister of the state Mr. Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu and Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Mr. Harivansh Narayan Singh as a special guest attended the session. The special feature of this session was that the children played the role of Chief Minister, Leader of Opposition, Speaker and all the posts and ran the state assembly for a day.
