Jaipur| Digital Baal Mela is now being appreciated not only in the country but also abroad. Britain’s Deputy High Commissioner Mr. Peter Cook met with the children of the Digital Baal Mela on Friday 17th June. In this meeting, which lasted for about half an hour, Peter Cook learned about the initiative of Digital Baal Mela from the children and appreciated it very much. Peter Cook said that Digital Baal Mela is a good and futuristic idea. Mr. Cook met Janhvi Sharma and Priya Sharma of Digital Baal Mela. He highly appreciated the idea of DIGITAL BAAL MELA and was fascinated by children’s involvement at such an early age. He admired थे children’s initiative and was happy to know how children from across the country are joining the campaign and utilizing their time positively towards a better tomorrow. Children according to him are the backbone of a country and our future too, and seeing them involved in a campaign like this he was delighted to see how children too can have an optimum vision in their lives. Glad and fascinated by learning about Digital Baal Mela he gave his best wishes and also showed keen interest in being a part of the campaign in any way possible. Let us tell you that Peter Cook is working as Deputy High Commissioner on behalf of Britain in Rajasthan and Gujarat since 2019.
There have been a total of 2 seasons of Digital Baal Mela so far. In which children from all over the country participated enthusiastically. Janhvi Sharma, a class 7 student of Sawai Man Singh Vidyalaya, who pioneered the Digital Baal Mela, wanted to create a digital platform to increase the creativity and awareness of the children.
