Digital Baal Mela presented the demand of child representation in Baal Panchayat in front of the government.
Jaipur. Digital Baal Mela organised a Baal Panchayat for children on the occasion of World Children’s Day on 19th November. In this Baal Panchayat, along with the children of Jairampura and Rajawas villages of Jaipur, Panchayat representative and Panchayati Raj Minister in the Government of Rajasthan, Ramesh Chand Meena also attended. In this Baal Panchayat, Digital Baal Mela raised the demand for child representation in front of the government.
Importance of child representation
In the presence of Minister of Panchayati Raj, Digital Baal Mela explained the importance of child representation in this child panchayat. Digital Baal Mela told that there is a need for child representation to reach the panchayat and the government. This will not only develop the understanding of panchayati raj and democracy in the children, but they will also be able to contribute better in the development of the village and solving the problems. Therefore, Digital Baal Mela asked the government to take necessary steps to ensure child representation in democratic system.
