The Sudarshan Art Gallery 3 at Jawahar Kala Kendra came alive with colors and creativity today as Future Society’s Digital Baal Mela, in collaboration with the Department of Art & Culture, Government of Rajasthan, inaugurated the Children’s Global Museum Painting Exhibition. The exhibition will remain open to visitors for an entire week.
After inaugurating the event, Neetu Rajeshwar, Additional Director, Directorate of Women Empowerment, remarked that connecting children with art and culture is essential, and such initiatives serve as a beautiful medium to link them with their roots.
The gallery showcases over fifty captivating artworks depicting iconic cultural and heritage spaces from across the globe, created by students from various schools. In addition to the displayed works, students are invited to paint live at the venue, offering visitors the opportunity to engage with them and witness their creative process up close.
Speaking on the occasion, Ravita Sharma, Vice President of Future Society, highlighted the contribution of several talented young artists. She mentioned the works of Aaradhya Agrawal (Napier Museum), Kamna Kumari (Colosseum Museum), Prashasti Rawat (Amrapali Museum), and Digvijay Singh Rathore (Louvre Museum, Paris), whose paintings have emerged as key attractions for visitors.
Janhavi Sharma, Founder of Digital Baal Mela, said that the objective of this campaign is to introduce children to more than 10,000 museums and heritage sites across the world through the Digital Baal Mela platform, helping them develop a deeper understanding of art, history, and culture.
