Jaipur|On June 12, in the special “Baal Satra” organized at the Vidhansabha Bhawan in Shimla, the opposition raised questions on the state’s medical facilities during the question hour. Questioning the Member of Opposition and Child MLA from Bilaspur, Charupriya enquired about the number of first aid centers in the state. Along with this, she also demanded the government to put details of the work being done to rectify the deteriorating conditions of some of these medical centers.
Responding to this, Child Health Minister and MLA from Shimla, Nikunj Rangta said that there are a total of 606 first aid centers in the state. Along with this, she informed that all the PHCs of the state are in functional condition and urged that according to the question raised by the member, if the name of any medical center exists, then it must be directly informed to the officials of the डिपार्टमेंट। While replying, she also said that the department is duty-bound to solve the said problem by taking appropriate and quick action and assured the honorable member of appropriate action.
When such a question on the State’s medical facilities was raised , the Health Minister of Himachal Pradesh Mr. Dhani Ram Shandil was present in the house .With this, Janhvi Sharma of Digital Baal Mela told that this was the first Baal Satra in the history of Himachal Pradesh, in which children sat in the House as legislators and carried the proceedings of Question Hour and Rule 324. This “Baal Satra” under “Bacchon ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho?” was organized by Digital Baal Mela and sponsored by LIC.
