“The Wall of Hope” to be held today at Amber Fort; Dr. Manju Baghmar (Minister of State, Women & Child Development) to inaugurate
Jaipur. The event scheduled for today will be inaugurated by Dr. Manju Baghmar, Minister of State, Women & Child Development. A special World Children’s Day celebration, “The Wall of Hope – Listen to the Future | My Day, My Right,” will be held today at Amber Fort, where children will express their understanding of Child Rights through paintings, slogans, performances and creative presentations. The event is a collaborative initiative of UNICEF, The Future Society and Digital Baal Mela.
Dr. Manju Baghmar (Minister of State, Women & Child Development) will attend the event as the Chief Guest. Mr. Rushabh Hemani, OIC and Chief of Field Office, UNICEF Rajasthan, and Mr. Hemant Bhargava, Patron of The Future Society, will also participate.
Children will present their perspectives on safety, education, participation and equality through painting, slogan writing, ramp walk, quiz activities, nukkad natak (street play) and other creative expressions. The highlight of the event will be the “Hope Wall,” where children’s paintings and messages will reflect their views on issues affecting childhood and their rights.
Digital Baal Mela Founder Janhvi Sharma stated that the initiative aims to enhance child rights awareness across Rajasthan and create a space where children can freely express their thoughts. The programme seeks to remind society that children are not only the future but active contributors to the present.
