What made everyone sitting in guest gallery of the Vidhansabha Bhawan giggle ..?

Jaipur| The honorable Cabinet ministers of Himachal Pradesh and assembly members were also invited in the Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha Baal Satra which was organized by Digital Baal Mela in collaboration with the Education Department of Himachal Pradesh. The ministers and MLAs were made to sit in a special gallery . From the gallery the honorable legislators witnessed the proceedings of Question Hour and Rule 324 by the Child MLAs.
Before the session began, the ministers met all the “child representatives” present in the House and learned about the issues being raised by the children and the problems of their constituencies. Not only this, they also spent time with the children and inquired about how these children were chosen , how did they prepare their speeches, and what are their future plans . After the successful conduct of the session, the children also took photos and selfies with their favorite ministers and MLAs of their area. While talking to Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania, all the ministers described the organization of this historic “Baal Satra” as an innovative effort, and urged to conduct such an extraordinary session every year.
Who All Are present There-
Janhvi Sharma of Digital Baal Mela told that Sports Minister Vikramaditya Singh, Medical Minister Dhani Ram Shandil, Industries Minister Harshvardhan Chauhan and Education Minister Rohit Thakur were present in this special session. Along with this, Chief Parliamentary Secretary Ram Kumar, Gagret MLA Chaitanya Sharma, Nahan MLA Ajay Solanki, Hamirpur MLA Ashish Sharma, Shimla MLA Harish Janartha, Indora MLA Malender Rajan, Shri Nena Deviji MLA Randhir Sharma and Lahaul and Spiti MLA Ravi Thakur also witnessed the session.
Along with this, when questions were raised on the department related to the said minister at the time of conducting the special “Baal Satra”, other ministers were seen pinching and irked . Significantly, the ministers were keeping a close watch on the suggestions given by the children and were making their notes to try to implement them. At the time of the sit- in protest by the opposition and at the time of indiscipline in the House, the entire guest gallary echoed with laughter. Everybody enjoyed watching the children conducting the session.
Rajasthan Vidhansabha “Baal Satra”-
This children’s session was organized on 12th of June on the occasion of “World Day against Child Labor” . It waas the second such session in the country and the first in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Before this, Rajasthan Vidhansabha “Baal Satra” was organized by Digital Bal Mela and LIC on 14 November 2021. This golden opportunity was given to the children by the Speaker of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly, Dr. CP Joshi.
