A family is a group of people who play crucial role in developing a person’s character, building their future and providing anything they need to empower one’s future. They are the only people who will stay with one in happy and sad times. Even if you get in big trouble, they will be beside you, to help you. A day dedicated to those awesome people is known as “International Family Day”. The day was first proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly on 15th May, 1993 to make people recognise the importance of families ad fubdamental units of society. The theme for year 2024 is “Embracing diversity, strengthening families”. Families are not only of one type, there are rather many types. One cannot say that a family comprises of members that sometimes argue, fight but still say happy. Some families might have a lifestyle where all the family members live isolated. Some families might even fight all the time. Every family has a different though process, rules, way of living etc. You cannot force them to become more like other families. Instead if we embrace the diverse lifestyle of families, we might end up strengthening their interpersonal relationships even more.
Family are the people who will listen to all your problems patiently. Nowadays, people have started being rude to their family members and even hating them. When they leave the world, they understand their importance. Isn’t it better if a person understands the importance of family earlier and don’t have disappointment later. Every human should understand the importance and role of families in their lives and love them till they can.
