Presently Pushkar MLA Suresh Singh Rawat was born on 28 March 1980 in Muhami, Ajmer. Rawat did his B.A. from Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati University. Received Honors degree.
Suresh Rawat has been associated with politics since his youth. Rawat has been the state minister of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha. Before this, he had been the President of Tirtha Guru Shri Pushkarraj Development Trust, Pushkar, District Ajmer from 2000 to 2002. Along with this, he had also been a member of All India Rawat Yuva Mahasabha, Rajasthan. Suresh Rawat has also been the Mandal President of Bharatiya Janata Party from Ajmer district from 2009 to 2013. In 2013 itself, Bharatiya Janata Party made Suresh Singh Rawat its candidate from Pushkar Assembly and he won. From 2014 to 2016, he was a member of the Petition Committee of the Rajasthan Assembly and from 2016 to 2017, he was a member of the Rules Committee. Suresh Rawat has also held the charge of Parliamentary Secretary from 2016 to 2018. In 2019, he has also been a member of the Committee on Welfare of Backward Classes, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
In 2018 and 2023 also, Suresh Rawat won from Pushkar Assembly and has won three consecutive elections. Suresh Singh Rawat was made Cabinet Minister in the newly formed Rajasthan government in 2023 and was given the charge of Water Resources Department and Water Resources Planning Department.
The Digital Baal Mela was started by Janhvi Sharma, a student of Maharaja Sawai Mansingh Vidyalaya, Jaipur, to remove the boredom of children during the Corona period. Under this, many campaigns have been organized so far in which “What should be the government of children?” “Main Bhi Baal Sarpanch”, “Kaun Banega Loktantra Prahari”, “Museum Through My Eyes” etc. are included.
