Digital Baal Mela has been organizing various programs for children to mark Tourism Day. The observance of Tourism Day began in 1980. The Rajasthan government has arranged for free entry to tourist sites on September 27. The Statutes of the World Tourism Organization were adopted on September 27, 1970; this historic date was chosen for World Tourism Day in commemoration of that event.
