Himachal Pradesh Vidhansabha “Baal Satra”, Selection’s of 68 “Child MLAs” starts tomorrow…
Jaipur. “Baccho ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho?” the campaign is being held under the aegis of the Himachal Pradesh Education Department. Today (May 25) is the last date to participate in the campaign. The selection process of entries sent by 8-17 year old children will be started from the 26th of May. For this, a panel of judges has been constituted by Digital Baal Mela. Leaders, artists, educationists, journalists, government officials and renowned personalities from other fields are present in this panel.
Significantly, the children will be selected on the basis of the video entry registered by them on the website of Digital Baal Mela. In these entries, the children have shared their views on what they would do if they become an MLA or a minister in the government or what should be the ideal government for children. In their video , children have give suggestions to the government on important issues and have expressed their point of view.
Last Date For Registration-
For your information, let us tell you that under Baccho Ki Sarkar Kaisi Ho campaign sponsored by LIC , children from across the country have sent their videos . These include children from Himachal Pradesh and many other states like Rajasthan, Assam, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Bihar and Uttarakhand. This campaign was started on 20th March by HP Vidhansabha Speaker Mr. Kuldeep Singh Pathania. Earlier, in this campaign, children could register till May 15. But keeping in view the increasing number of children joining the campaign, Digital Baal Mela decided to extend the date by 10 days. And so , today is the last day to participate in this campaign, after today no entry will be accepted.
Historic Vidhansabha “Baal Satra”-
From Digital Bal Mela, Executive Officer Garvit Sharma told that under the campaign, on June 12, Himachal Pradesh will witness the historic Vidhansabha “Baal Satra”. In this session, 68 “Child Legislators” will present burning issues related to children and their suggestions before the government and the society. Honorable Harivansh Narayan Singh, Deputy Chairman of Rajya Sabha will be present as the guest of honor in this session to boost the morale of the children.Not only this, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will also be present as the chief guest to give his warm blessings to the children .
During the registration process , several dialogue sessions were organized by the Digital Baal Mela. In these sessions so far, Lahaul Spiti MLA Ravi Kumar ;Jhanduta MLA Jitram Katwal; Aditya Kant Sharma, senior executive editor of “The Statesman”; prominent theater artist of Himachal Amala Rai ; Jaswan-Paragpur MLA Bikram Singh ; The Citizen’s Associate Editor Rajeev Khanna ; Kullu Deputy Commissioner Ashutosh Garg ; Mandi MP Mrs. Pratibha Singh ; MLA Ram Kumar ; MLA Inder Singh Gandhi ; MLA Kewal Singh Pathania, and MLA Chaitanya Sharma have interacted with the children. On May 26, Member Secretary, Women and Child Commission , Himachal Pradesh- Mrs. Bushra Ansari will interact with the children.
